Are Most Of These Questions On Here Specifically About A Product Of Some Sort?

I'm used to WebAnswers where some questions could be pretty random. What is this site like? And what is the company category for?

HelpOwl is a site that allows for questions about a variety of products and services. Persons answering questions are able to accumulate points that can be redeemed for prizes such as gift cards.  The company listing allows you to search for questions about a particular company or area of knowledge that you may be proficient in.  Here is a page that will give you more information about HelpOwl.

When creating HelpOwl, we decided to focus as much as we could upon specific comapnies, products and autos, and to avoid the model adopted by several other more general Q/A web sites. We made this decision to with the goal of helping our questions askers and answerers to more easily receive and provide help. We believe that most companies do a lackluster job supporting their customers and we wanted HelpOwl to be a forum for people to help each other and to collect knowledge through previous answers, manuals and the company web sites themselves to help other people in similar situations moving forward.

To kcmjr, we actually do not get the support questions from any third-party web sites. All questions and answers are entered directly onto HelpOwl.com.

Hope this helps explain things

HelpOwl uses spider programs to scour the support sites of a slew of companies and gather up the support questions posted there.  They aggregate them onto this site and make them available for us to answer.  Once answered the system posts the reply back on the original site.  This is the reason that many of the questions appear directed to a certain company.  People post on a companies web site and expect to be talking to that company.  The only limit to the number of companies HelpOwl can support is wether they can get an account created there for the spiders.
