Can't Scan

pushing scan. error says not setup and to refer to manual which doesn't say anything about set up for scan just how to do the operation which is obvious. I tried installing disc again and it said something about system requirements. What are requirements? is it my ram? HELP

There are several different manuals for this printer -- it sounds like you are just using the wrong manual. There is a user guide, a quick start guide, and a getting started guide. In addition, there is a scan tasks guide, which should help you set up the scanning feature. All of these guides can be downloaded here:
