How To Print In Blanck And White Only?

We did not replace the empty color cartridges to prevent the machine from printing in color, but now the color cartridges are leaking toner and the copies are smeared. Do we need to replace the color cartridges and if so, how do we set the printer to only print in black and white?

All cartridges must be working condition..

Why: While printer intializing after powering on, printer will perform the calibration to calibrate the cartridges,if one or more cartridges not in good health condition calibrate will fails..Result printer won't comes in ready mode.

How to put in to black & white print mode: Go to prin ter properties, priting preferences, color, select gray
