No Printouts
why am i unable to get a print out even after installing a new 802 b/w cartridge in my hp 1050 , their is a red drop like steady signal on the front panel of the printer ,

The red light on your HP Deskjet 1050 printer device signifies that there is a problem with the power supply of your printer. It cannot get enough power to perform its tasks. You have to make sure that the power cables are working and connected well.
You should also consider reinstalling the driver software which can be downloaded from the support website of HP. Here's the link to the download page.
