My Printer Will Not Stay As My Default Printer.
MY PRINTER MUST BE REINSTALLED EVRY TIME I WISH TO USE IT.
WHY??????

It is possible that your printer needs a driver upgrade, just remove the old drive and reinstall a new driver. I am including HP customer service website:
