My Dvd Player/cd Player Is Not Being Detected.

I have a HP Pavillion dv6604 Laptop, and I can't play CDs or DVDs. The Device Manager doesn't even list the DVD drive. This is the internal DVD-RW drive; According to the Hard Disk Drives listed, I have a C Drive and E Drive (HP_Recovery). Please assist. Thanks, Raj
