Hp 721 All In One.. Reinstall On Compaq With Windows 7 And Scanning To Pdf

I have an HP721 OXI all in one printer. I had a tech here who installed my new computer and got a driver from the internet for my printer, the printer was working when he left and then I tried to scan documents for work. Yesterday, I was able to scan and save my docs as pdf files when I scanned with my old computers HPDirector program. Thinking I could uninstall the printer and reinstall with the disk to get that pdf feature back, i uninstalled the printer and now I can not install it on my new compaq computer from the disk, it says the system does not have the right configuration. I need to be able to scan documents as pdf and I can't figure out how to do it. And because I thought I could install the program back to where it was yesterday, I now need help reinstalling my printer somehow.
