Hp Will Not Print From Word Perfect 10. Why Not?

There are multiple ways to scan a photo or document, using either the HP software that comes with your printer, or functionality built into the Windows operating system. This document provides instructions to scan with either option. Should I scan with or without HP software? Various scan options are available with or without HP software. The option you choose can depend on the type of scan job you need. What are the differences?There are a few differences between the two options to keep in mind.

Scanning with HP software : For enhanced scan functionality, the Full Feature HP software includes HP Solution Center - valuable software to help you complete scan jobs. HP Solution Center offers a friendly user interface with available scanning shortcuts. The HP software offers a number of output options not available with the drivers built into the Windows operating system. This is the recommended scanning option when Full Feature HP software is available.
Scanning without HP software : This option relies on drivers built into the Windows operating system. Available scan options are limited when compared to those available with the Full Feature HP software. However, this option provides a quick way to scan photos or simple files. The scan functionality in Windows also provides a smaller driver installation, uses less system resources, and can provide a method to scan if you do not have permissions to install the Full Feature HP software on a computer.

Do I have HP software on my tablet?HP Solution Center is part of a Full Feature software installation. Follow these steps to see if you have HP software installed on your tablet.

Swipe from the right side of the touchscreen, or move the mouse cursor to the lower or upper-right corner of the screen to open the Charms bar.
Click or tap Search ( ).
Click or tap Apps ( ) if it is not already selected.
Type Solution Center in the search box.
- If Solution Center displays in the results, you are ready to begin. Click or tap Solution Center to scan.
- If Solution Center does not display in the results, continue to the next section to get the latest HP software.

How do I get the HP software?If you have not already installed the Full Feature HP software and would like to, follow these steps.

Turn on the printer.
Disconnect the USB cable from the printer and the computer (if you already connected it). If the printer is connected to a network, leave it connected.
Go to HP Drivers & Downloads . If prompted, type your printer model number, click Next , and then click Drivers .
Make sure that your operating system is selected, and then click Next .
Scroll down the page, and then click Driver .
Click Download , and then follow the on-screen instructions to save the software to your computer.
Open the folder where the software file saved (usually Downloads ), double-click the file, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
