I would assume you are trying to print and it is asking for a user name and password? I would suggest that whoever configured the network either configured the printer as not shared and you need to know the log-in details of that person or they have configured a print server to control printing. If it is your own printer then it should be automatically attached to you. You should see it on the network. No password should be required. If that is the case I suggest you reset the printer back to defaults and restart the installation. If that does not resolve your problem raise another question with as much technical information you can provide.
