Hp Estation C510a - Local Scan And Application Scan Results Showing Vertical Lin

Symptoms: I started seeing tight vertical lines in my scan results when scanning: Locally using the built in scan function of the estation c510a built in display, pc display via a SW app or when printing Using packages like ACDsee, paperport Happens in B&W, greyscale or color  Troubleshooting (nothing worked): Unplugged C510a waited 10 minutes and re-plugged Ran HP Update Ran HP Imaging troubleshooting tool (from HP website) I downloaded and ran HP Print and Scan Doctor and launched HP Scan Diagnostic Utility from there. I even ran HP Update again. uninstalled the HP Imaging SW and rebooted and reinstalled I had checked for updated previously but selected it again on the docked Zeen and it shows my system is up to date --> firmware shows: zep1cn1130ar (2.2) (113110) I also performed a factory reset and when I just did I had hoped that would be the fix my issue but unfortunately it did not work -- after the reset the onboard scanning function (viewed on the zeen) still showed the same vertical lines (as previously shared in my posts). Wondering if anyone else has experiened tihs -- seems to be a product defect but as it is just out of warranty i doubt HP will do anything to help. Thanks,   Rick
