Open The Foot Rest

just moved and someone closed the foot rest. Can't stand the computer upright as it falls forward. Stabilizing foot rest that allows the computer to lean back won't open.

This is the link to HP where the installation instructions are. They explain how to place the back support. If someone has wrongly fitted the support then you will have to resort to a little detective work but using the help of the web-page should enable you to solve your issue. You need to scroll down to the lower part of the document after the electronic set-up sections.
