Unit Keeps Shutting Off.

My Hitachi CPX5 XGA projector keeps shutting off is it a power supply issue. It runs for a short time (approx. 2min.) then shuts off. It is used with a Promethean Active Board. I turn it on with the remote and it starts with no problem, but then in a few minutes it shuts off and the red led light flickers. I physically have to turn it off then on at the unit then it just repeats the same issue. (The filter is kepted clean)

Have you reset the counter?  Both the filter and the lamp have counters so you have to reset the lamp time or the filter time after changing the lamp or cleaning the filter. In MENU go to OPTIONS and find the time you want to reset.  Select RESET using the up arrow then press the RESET/CANCEL or PLAY buttons to reset.
