For all of our home installation services, The Home Depot offers many ways to pay. We'll work with you to find the financing option that is most convenient for you, to get your installation project underway right away.
If you put the job on your credit card, check with your card company first, a contractor job may not be the same as a contractor purchase.
If the door is simply a replacement and doesn't require a new cut-out, it might not require a permit. In which case you might have a problem if the work is not satisfactory because there is no Building Department final on which to fall back.
Depending upon how you ordered the door and the installation, you might have a problem cancelling the order. Home Depot is very closed mouth about that aspect of the business. Please take a look at your contract for the door and the services first.
You might also want to find out when they charge you/your card for the installation because to charge you up front for the job doesn't make sense to me either. If you financed the job, you might be on a payment plan but you need to find out what your recourse would be if the door is not properly installed.
