Freezer Getting Colder

I replaced my thermostat about 4 months ago and started working fine. Problem is, freezer still gets colder and colder but temp on fridge stays same and compressor always running. If I unplug it for little bit and plug back in it works fine at set temperature, but might be two to three days and same problem occurs. Any ideas
