Tank Out Of Water
The tank is quite heavy (3 gallons) when trying to fill refill the tank. If we only fill halfway and refill more often there is a concern that the HCM 315T would be damaged if the water would run out of the tank, or will it automatically shut off?We have broken the tank is there any replacement warranty that this would be covered under?

No, the unit will go into standby mode when the humidity hits the desired level. If the unit is out of warranty you can find the tank here.
This 3 year limited warranty applies to repair
or replacement of product found to be
defective in material or workmanship. This
warranty does not apply to damage resulting
from commercial, abusive, unreasonable use
or supplemental damage. It also does not
apply to the filter or Protec
Cartridge. Defects that are the result of
normal wear and tear will not be considered
manufacturing defects under this warranty.
