Are The Messages Asking For Account Information Legit?

I have been getting messages that want hotmail account information within 48 hours or my account will be closed. They don't look legit. Are they?

Hi there,

This is not legit. Someone is trying to get your personal information to hack your account. I would click your "report/spam" button on the email.

Hotmail will NEVER ask you for personal information such as your password via email.
