Add A Contact To A Group?

I am having touble adding a personal contact to a specific group. I can get them into the ALL but canot figure out how to get them from the ALL to a group. Thanks

Adding Contact to HOTMAIL GROUPS

Open Hotmail
Click “contacts” from left menu or after clicking “hotmail” above
Create new contact by clicking new with circle and a + sign
Under people click “all” and then click box by contact so that it is check marked
Menu bar changes to include “Groups”
Click to check mark “Group or Groups” to add contact to
The “Apply” box will light up
Check “Apply”
Click checkmark under “PEOPLE” in white area not red area, Select group from list to make sure that Contact is added
