No Hotmail Connection

I am unable to log onto my Hotmail account. Could this possibly be because my email A/C is full? If so how do I reduce the size of the contents of the email A/C when I am unable to log on. Is it possible for Hotmail to give me temporary access to my A/C so that I may delete/cleanup

There has always been a problem with Hotmail! Sometimes I have been unable to log in for up to a week! Whenever I search, I come across sooo many questions like yours that I started using Gmail - which will work on ALL platforms, not just windows (like my symbian phone, linux computer, friend's Mac computer etc etc etc)

Gmail works free in Outlook Express, unlike Hotmail.

Now THAT's funny!
I remember that when you type in www.hotmail.com in trusty Internet Explorer address bar, it redirects to http://login.passport.net/uilogin.srf?id… . - type in name and password, and it then redirects to another long URL.

Then, instead of directing you to yet ANOTHER URL, and loading up hotmail homepage, you get the 'Done' signal at the bottom of my browser page, and a blank screen.
