To drain the battery for the TBC fuse in a 2004 Hummer H2, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery: Locate the battery under the hood and find the negative terminal, usually marked with a minus (-) symbol. Using a wrench or socket, loosen and remove the bolt or clamp holding the cable to the terminal, then carefully lift the cable away from the terminal.

2. Identify the TBC fuse: The TBC (Trailer Brake Control) fuse is usually located in the fuse box, which can be found in the engine compartment, underneath the dashboard, or in the rear cargo area of the vehicle. Consult your owner's manual or the fuse box cover for the exact location.

3. Remove the TBC fuse: Once you locate the TBC fuse, use a fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to gently grip and pull the fuse out of its socket. Be sure to handle it carefully to avoid damaging the fuse or the fuse socket.

4. Allow time for battery drainage: With the TBC fuse removed, the electrical system connected to that fuse will no longer draw power from the battery. Depending on the systems involved, it may take several minutes or even hours for the battery to fully drain. You can expedite this process by turning on headlights, interior lights, or any other power-consuming feature in the vehicle.

5. Reinstall the TBC fuse: Once you are satisfied that the battery has been drained, reinsert the TBC fuse into its proper socket securely.

6. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery: Take the cable you disconnected in step 1 and place it back onto the negative terminal of the battery. Tighten the bolt or clamp to ensure a secure connection.

Remember, draining the battery completely may cause other systems or settings in your vehicle to reset. If you have any concerns or questions, it's always a good idea to consult your vehicle's manual or seek assistance from a professional to avoid any potential issues.

To drain your battery for the TBC fuse in a 2004 Hummer H2, you will need to disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery. Then, you will need to connect a test light or voltmeter to the positive battery cable and the TBC fuse. If the test light is on or the voltmeter reads a voltage, then the TBC fuse is drawing power from the battery.

To find out which parts are drawing power from the TBC fuse, you will need to disconnect each part one at a time until the test light goes off or the voltmeter reads zero volts. Once you have found the part that is drawing power from the TBC fuse, you can either repair or replace the part.

Here are some of the parts that may be drawing power from the TBC fuse:

Trailer brake controller

OnStar system

Power running boards

Aftermarket accessories

If you are not comfortable troubleshooting electrical problems, you should take your Hummer H2 to a qualified mechanic.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting electrical problems:

Use a wiring diagram to identify the circuits that are connected to the TBC fuse.

Check for any damaged or corroded wiring.

Use a multimeter to test the voltage and amperage of the TBC fuse circuit.

If you are not familiar with electrical troubleshooting, consult a qualified mechanic.
