Fan Getting Electricity But Not Working.

When fan in turned on, I can hear a humming noise but the fan doesn't actually turn and do its usual thing. It sounds like the "gear" if there is such a thing here, is stuck. What should I try to troubleshoot this?

motor is probably burnt out or almost, cheaper to replace fan
