Viewing Angle Adjustment

Insignia NS-24E730A12 manual and webpage both indicate a vertical viewing angle of 160 degrees. Mine works from nearly +90 degrees down to about minus 45 degrees. Then the picture goes dark and look like it becomes a negative image. It is worst in Theater Mode. Is there some adjustment to make lower angles visible? I only use this TV when I exercise and am on the floor a lot. It is two days old. Help me decide whether to keep it.
