Try power cycling the TV by leaving it unplugged from power for a full 30 seconds. This will reset the television.
The DEVICE should come up on the input for the connection type you use. Since in the previous post I asked to have you connect it with HDMI the DEVICE should have came up on which ever HDMI port you had it connected to. Make sure only the HDMI cable is connected to DEVICE and television and the Composite or Component cables are not connected to the DEVICE or the television.
If you are connecting the the DEVICE to the TV with the red white and yellow cables, make sure the yellow cable is in the green port of the TV. If you are connecting the DEVICE with the component cable double check your connections and make sure the colors match up. Common mistakes are switching the reds and confusing blue and green. Do the same reset as described in the previous post for each different connection method.
If you still are not able to get the DEVICE to show on the television we will need to determine which device is at fault. Try another devices with the television or try the DEVICE on another television. If other devices work on the TV and the DEVICE doesn't work on the other television you will know something is wrong with the DEVICE. If the Insignia doesn't work with other devices and the DEVICE does you will know the TV is defective and would need to be repaired.
