Can't Back Up On My Hdld320-u Ext Hard Drive
Keep getting "full " message, but thought it auto dumped oldest backups. Also, keep getting "you are trying to back up encrypted data on unencrypted disc.

The data you are trying to back up is encrypted in some way. You need to provide a password for the files you are backing up to allow the pc to access them. It is an issue with your PC rather than your disk drive. Prove it by copying a simple text file to the drive rather that trying to backup.
