Car Running Rough, Clunk Sound When Break Pressed Going In Reverse

when the car is in gear but stopped, it is running rough, my son thinks it is a motor mount.  also when i back down my drive with my foot on the break i sometimes here a clunk and feel like some think is loose in the pedal.
