This radio has no dedicated input for an MP3 player.
If your player has a built in FM transmitter you will need to tune the radio to the station that the player is set to broadcast on.
If not you'll need to buy a transmitter adapter. That's what I do with mine.
Personally I like this adapter: http://reviews.cnet.com/mp3-player-accessories/monster-icarplay-wireless-plus/4505-6519_7-31248005.html since it uses the car power and not batteries.
There are plenty of these adapters available from places like Walmart to Radio Shack.
