My my JVC XL 2000 mini compact disc changer keeps getting a code 13 how do I solve this problem

Reading the user guide there is an option to select the starting track. It is possible that this may have been set in error. Page 9 of the user guide explains under the 'Display' section.
"The track number table shows the tracks selected for the currently selected/displayed disk.When a track is specified as the starting track, all track numbers following the track will be shown. The track number display is available only up to 20, however."
