My Jvc Pc-x250 Refuse To Work.

My old JVC worked alright for many years until recently. The radio button does not hold and disc drive only works for a few seconds. Is there any fix to this kind of problems? Or shall I simply discard it ?

How do I reset my JVC radio?

Reset your stereo by pressing the "ON" and "Select" buttons down at the same time for 6 seconds. It's the simplest way to erase the internal chip memory and return your JVC car stereo to factory settings. However, take care not to press the buttons down too hard, as this may damage internal components!

If the disk drive is not working a disk cleaner may resolve that problem if it is unable to read disks. Resetting may also solve problems but it will set everything back to factory which involves retuning your radio channels etc.
