The recommended antifreeze/coolant for a 2006 Jeep Liberty is Prestone 50/50 ready-to-use prediluted extended life amam antifreeze/coolant1. The recommended mixture is 50/50 ethylene-glycol and water, and only Mopar Antifreeze Coolant, 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula (glycol base coolant with corrosion inhibitors called HOAT) is recommended2. Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) is used at the factory and your local dealership as the recommended coolant to keep the Jeep engine running smooth, cool and corrosion free34.
