Hearing A Metal Sound When Disposer Runs
My 3/4HP is still mounted to my sink. Down inside the disposer itself(where the food is turned into a liquid, there is a metal bolt sticking up with a metal ring that is loose. It is so loose that I can turn it easily by hand. and it is this ring that is causing the metal sound. what I don't know, is this normal? I have tried to locate manuals for this, but non of the manuals I find online show that much detail(the inside construction of the disposal.Can you help me to indentify that part? My disposal is maybe 5 years old.
