Power Save Settings

How do I adfjust the Power Save Settings downward?? What are the recommended settings for the Warm Sleep Timer and Cold Sleep Timer?? If I only use the machine infrequently is it better to leave the machine on with the Sleep Timers or to turn the machine on only when I need to use it?? Thank You,
