How Can I Reset Or Get Around The 4 Digit Unlock Code For An Lg Mn510?

is it this difficult really? I've tried the holding the volume up and the power button at the same time no other menu comes up. my lg phone does not take a SIM card. the carrier is metro pcs. it won't let me punch in that star 06 pound code (to retrieve the lmei number) because the phone is locked, and it wants a four digit unlock code. which I don't have! so I'm looking underneath the battery for the LME I code and there isn't one! there is a MEID number: 2684 3546 000 8678 847.

Try holding the volume up first then combine with the power button. Make sure u press the volume button first.
