Determine How Lacie Setup Assistant Show Format Your Device

I do not know: what exactly I need to do if I would like to use my Macbook pro in general where I will mostly plug in Porsche Design Desktop Drive 4TB, but some how also having possibility ones in a while to plug in disk in other computers.Another question: is if I chose one option, can I later chose another one, when I change my idea?
