To reset your LaCie Network Space 2 to its factory settings, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the device: Make sure your LaCie Network Space 2 is turned off.
  2. Locate the reset button: The reset button is located on the back of the device, next to the Ethernet port.
  3. Press and hold the reset button: Press and hold the reset button with a paper clip or a similar object.
  4. Turn on the device: While holding the reset button, turn on the device by pressing the power button.
  5. Wait for the LED to blink: Keep holding the reset button until the LED on the front of the device starts blinking.
  6. Release the reset button: Once the LED starts blinking, release the reset button.
  7. Wait for the reset process to complete: The LaCie Network Space 2 will now reset to its factory settings. This process may take several minutes. Once the reset process is complete, the LED will stop blinking and the device will restart.

Note: Resetting the device to its factory settings will erase all data and configuration settings. After the reset process is complete, you will need to set up your device again, including creating new user accounts, setting up network shares, and configuring other settings as needed.

To reset the username and password for your LaCie Network Space 2, you can follow these steps:
  1. Connect your LaCie Network Space 2 to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Power on your device and wait for the LED to turn solid blue.
  3. Open a web browser on your computer and type in the default IP address for the Network Space 2, which is 192.168.1.1, in the address bar.
  4. Press Enter and you will be prompted to enter your username and password.
  5. Since you have forgotten your username and password, you will need to perform a reset. Look for the reset button on the back of your Network Space 2, press and hold it for about 10 seconds until the LED flashes red.
  6. Release the reset button and wait for the device to restart. This may take a few minutes.
  7. Once the device has restarted, open a web browser and enter the default IP address again. This time you will be prompted to set up a new username and password.

Note that resetting your device will erase all data stored on it. If you have important data on your Network Space 2, make sure to back it up before resetting the device.
