Leappad 2 Age Group
Is the leappad 2 a good idea for a 17 month old ? Looking at getting him one for christmas. he loves using my iphone and ipad and i think he would enjoy it. Are there younger mind targeted age appropriate apps ?

I think so, if anything you can download the ebooks. My daughter is almost two and a half and St. Nick just brought my 4 yr old a leappad 2 (early) and she's really taken to it, I didn't expect it. But it will grow with them, if he likes to color there is an art studio that is pretty easy to use for them. There are also videos to download. Plus, If you're doing games with him it is a great learning tool (if he ends up not getting it on his own)
