To store files from your computer system to your CD/DVD media, you have to use a burning software and also make sure that your DVD ROM Drive is capabile of writing to CD/DVD media. Nero is one of the popula burning software available online. You can download/purchase it here:
To transfer files/data from your CD to your computer, just follow these steps:
1. Insert the CD to the CD/DVD ROM of your computer
2. Open My Computer/Computer
3. Locate the the DVD ROM Drive and open it by double clicking
4. Copy your preferred files from this drive
5. Paste the copied files on your computer hard disk
