Printing Will Not Print Until The Yellow Cartridge Is Replaced.

We understand and appreciate your point, but having an empty cartridge has some serious disadvantages. The printer needs all of the cartridges with sufficient ink levels in order to prevent damaging the printhead. Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink.
If you only print documents that don't require color, you can set the printer to print in black only under printing preferences.
