X364dn Will Not Turn On Anymore. Reset Pwr Switch In Back, Immed Goes Off. ?

8 months ago I bought 2 X364 printers. Last week one would not come out of Pwr save it seems. Needed to recycle Pwr switch in back. Most times it would start the warming sequence, but would shut off when the drum or whatever would try to turn. Works fine when I can trick the pwr to come on. Now, Pwr goes back off as soon as the switch is reset. Today, the other did the same thing. Coincidence? Both are in different parts of the country. Anything I can check inside? Reset inside? a fuse / switch? I find it hard to believe that 2 of the same printer, in different locations would have the same failure at the same time.

Try checking for the voltages of the Low Voltage and High Voltage Power Supply. CAUTION: Check the AC line voltage. The voltage should be within the following limits:

• 100 V ac (volts alternating current)-127 V ac for the 110 V printer
• 200 V ac-240 V ac for the 220 V printer

Please try the follwoing:

Unplug the printer. Remove the LVPS/HVPS, and check the fuses for continuity.
• If open, then replace the LVPS/HVPS.
• If not open, then check the switch continuity across its conductors with the switch on.
Turn the switch off. Plug the AC line into the LVPS/HVPS and switch unit on.
