Check the battery: Make sure the battery is fully charged and that the connections are clean and tight. A weak or dead battery can prevent the engine from cranking.
Check the starter: The starter is responsible for turning the engine over when you turn the key in the ignition. If the starter is faulty, the engine won't crank.
Check the ignition switch: The ignition switch sends power to the starter and other electrical components in the vehicle. If the switch is faulty, the engine won't crank.
Check the fuel pump: If the fuel pump is not working, the engine won't start because it's not getting fuel.
Check the alternator: The alternator is responsible for charging the battery and providing power to the electrical system. If the alternator is not working, the battery will eventually die and the engine won't crank.
Check the immobilizer system: If the immobilizer system is not working, the engine won't crank.
Check all fuses and relays: Check all the fuses and relays related to the cranking system.
Check the transmission range sensor: this sensor should be in the right position to allow the engine to start.
It's important to note that if none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be best to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified technician to diagnose the problem.
