Broken Seal On La400

i have a broken seal on a LA400 lift master gate opener. Moisture gets in and freezes the cylinder in place which in turn does not allow the gate to open. The seal in on the actuator side out in the elements. Can i purchase and replace the seal or do i have to purchase a new cylinder?
