Power Window Reassembly Problem
I replaced the crushed nylon slugs that are the safety connection in the power window planetary gear box located between the motor and the regulator wire spool on my '93 Lincoln Town Car. When I reassembled it, the motor/gear box would not mount flush with the wire spool housing part of the regulator. When I did both front window repairs about a year ago I vaguely remember reading that this was an occasional problem. Unfortunately, I don't remember the solution. Any help that you can give me on how to get these two parts to mate correctly would be greatly appreciated.
