Amendments To 'how To Permanently Block Someone'
I've tried going to the individual's profile to block them from seeing my information, but when I do that they don't have the drop down arrow next to the "connect" button.

The down arrow is a small black triangle pointing down. It's not right next to the Connect button, but slightly beyond that, to the right of the Send inMail button. If you don't see it, there's a problem on your end. First make sure you haven't disabled any scripts. Then follow the numbered steps (last paragraph) at http://bit.ly/1Syt79S. Good luck!
