The spring-loaded door on the underside of the Magic Chef MCSCWD20W3 washing machine is the cleanout door. It is designed to provide easy access to the wash tub drain pump and filter. This is useful if the pump or filter becomes clogged with lint or other debris.

To open the cleanout door, simply locate the spring-loaded latch on the underside of the washing machine and press down on it. This will release the latch and allow you to open the door. Once the door is open, you can access the wash tub drain pump and filter.

It is important to note that the cleanout door should only be opened if the washing machine is unplugged and the water supply has been turned off. Additionally, you should wear gloves and safety glasses when opening the cleanout door, as the water inside the wash tub may be hot.

If you are unsure how to clean or replace the wash tub drain pump or filter, you should consult the owner's manual for your washing machine or contact a qualified technician.
