You need to reset the device:

Unplug your magicJack, and run mjRemover.exe and then the Microsoft Fixit Center app. Then reboot and re-plug. (You can download the remover program from http://upgrades.talk4free.com/tools/mjRemover.exe.)

Then to register:

Hook up the device to your computer via its USB port. If using a MAC, double-click the magicJack Plus icon that appears. (If using a PC, magicJack Plus software will load automatically.) Click on "Click Here To Register" or on "Click Here for Free Trial." Follow the on-screen prompts.
