Magic Jack Stays Unregistered Despite Repeated Completed Attempts.

Even though the Magic Jack plus Registration is done to completion on line when the unit is plugged and I try to make a call I keep getting a message that the Magic Jack is unregistered, please log on and register .

Sorry for your problems. Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if your magicJack is not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
if your Internet speed is too low,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
