Phone Number Porting

I bought magic jack plus specifically so I could port my exsiting phone number. I try to follow the porting procedure and it says that it is not available for my number???? What gives? This is suppose to be one of the key selling points and it does not work. If it is not available then I will be returning for a full refund. Please respond ASAP.

I agree that magicJack's advertising is misleading, because not all communities are covered. If you bought your magicJack at a retailer, return the device to the retailer with your original packaging and receipt.

Otherwise, you must return your magicJack(s) within 30 days with the RMA email or RMA Bar Code enclosed

Before returning equipment you must obtain a valid RMA number by visiting: http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html
All returned equipment must be in the original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact.
All components must be included.

Your method of payment will be credited within two weeks from date of return. The credit may not show up on your physical printed statement from your bank for up to two billing cycles.
