Purchased Mj Plus So I Could Plug It Into The Wall But It Has Not Worked That Wa

Purchased MJ Plus so I could plug it into the wall but it has not worked that way since I purchased it. Also, it seems that the device I have is only working when plugged into my laptop but not when plugged into my desktop. Also, it seems that MJ cuts off after talking for a certain amount of time. I never experienced so many "dropped calls" as I have with Magic Jack. I'm very disappointed in this product. Please assist.

Sorry for your problems.

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all [partial list]:

if your magicJack is not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet at a sufficiently high speed,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

You may wish to try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here. Or consider "Running MagicJack as System" as outlined here.

If however the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
