The positive terminal on a 1989 Mazda B2200 battery is located on the right-hand side when viewed from the front of the vehicle. So, when installing the battery, the positive cable should be connected to the terminal on the right-hand side of the battery. The negative cable should be connected to the terminal on the left-hand side of the battery. It is important to always connect the cables to the correct terminals to prevent any damage to the vehicle's electrical system.
