Do I Have To Delete Avg Before I Download Mcafee Total Protection

Yes it will be a better option to delete AVG before you install Mcafee, but it is not mandatory, but two antiviruses does not work well at a same time and it may slow down your system as well,
Hence I reckon you should delete AVG.
