Installing Firefox 5 Has Diababled Mcafee Site Advisor 3.3.1

My main web browswer is mozilla firefox. I recently installed firefox 5 by mistake and it has disabled my McAfee site advisor 3.3.1 Is it ok to go into the Add-ons manager tab, find the incompatible extension, click on More and then click on the link to the McAfee website where there is a free download of the updated site advisor? Will this work ok if I click to download or will the site advisor be disabled again. When will McAfee be able to sort this problem? All I want is my site advisor back. I pay for my McAfee security through bt net protect plus and I don't feel safe on the web without it. Thankyou, Connie
