2007 Mercury Oil Change Message

had oil change at dealership but lately the message oil life 5% change soon suddenly comes on message screen why would this happen

This happens when the software is not properly calibrated. Go back to the dealership; it should be adjusted without charge. (If there is a charge, you may prefer to create a reminder for yourself: a good free reminder program is nudgemail.com.)
